Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in the plumbing field or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to establish the layout of plumbing systems, including water supply and waste disposal networks.
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Excavate openings in walls and floors to accommodate piping and fittings.
  • Assemble pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or through soldering, brazing, and welding techniques.
  • Conduct leak tests on pipes utilizing air and water pressure gauges.
  • Assess piping system requirements and determine appropriate pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to meet specified dimensions.

  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
