As a vital part of our grocery operations, you will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our grocery department runs smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement directives from the grocery manager regarding tasks, procurement, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Act as the grocery manager in their absence, overseeing department operations, creating staff schedules, managing purchases, and maintaining inventory.
  • Responsible for sourcing specific grocery items from approved suppliers.
  • Engage with company representatives to facilitate business operations.
  • Receive and verify incoming goods, ensuring proper storage in designated areas.
  • Label and organize products for sale in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Adjust pricing on shelves and ensure product rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols among staff.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks within the grocery department.
  • Promote the sale of various products and services available to customers.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in grocery operations is essential.
  • Management experience is a significant advantage.
