Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a proficient and knowledgeable Project Manager/Estimator with a focus on fabrication. This role entails managing projects from the initial estimation phase through to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and the highest quality standards. Your proficiency in fabrication techniques and project management will be crucial to our operational success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the estimation process for fabrication projects, reviewing blueprints, specifications, and related documentation to assess material, labor, and equipment needs.
  • Generate comprehensive cost estimates, encompassing labor, materials, subcontractor quotes, and other associated project expenses.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure project profitability by managing scope changes with clients and warranty chargebacks with suppliers.
Required Qualifications:
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technologist or equivalent diploma.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in construction project management or a manufacturing background is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PMBOK standards and best practices is beneficial.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus.
