About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Alleviate Physiotherapy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assessment of patients under the supervision of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Carry out treatment programs as directed by physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients
  • Examine patients to identify areas of concern and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and supplies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
