Role Overview

As a vital member of our team at Del's Pastry Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Monitoring: Consistently oversee workstations during daily operations to prevent bottlenecks and equipment issues.
  • Manpower Coordination: Act as the first point of contact to address operational bottlenecks that require additional support.
  • Quality Assurance: Communicate any concerns to the Quality Assurance team if finished products do not meet specifications.
  • Inspection Support: Assist leadership by conducting visual and audible inspections of products across all operational workstations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all products adhere to proper weight, size, shape, and presentation standards.
  • Schedule Assistance: Support the lead hand with managing schedules and shift changes.
  • Product Handling: Efficiently pick, pack, stack, build, and place products correctly on trays, packages, or belts.
  • Work Environment Maintenance: Uphold a safe and clean workspace.
  • Food Safety Advocacy: Prioritize food safety and promote a culture of food safety compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Play an integral role in guiding the team to adhere to food safety regulations, internal policies, and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Break Relief: Provide coverage during breaks as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities and tasks as required.
