We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Westminster Mobile Medical Imaging Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design, development, and testing, and preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports. They will also be responsible for writing specifications, inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components, conducting safety training programs, and collecting and compiling operational or experimental data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the building and testing of prototypes
  • Assist in design, development, and testing
  • Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
  • Write specifications
  • Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components
  • Conduct safety training programs
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data
  • Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Handling heavy loads
