Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at LIMITLESS MIGRATE NURSE CORP. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking, transferring, and positioning.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, including engaging in activities and conversations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care.
  • Assist clients in water (i.e. pool).
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
  • Collect specimens.
  • Feed or assist in feeding.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus.
  • Provide companionship.
  • Provide personal care.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate.
Work Environment:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Overtime required.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Walking.
  • Work under pressure.
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.

  • Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
Support for Mature Workers:
