Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and handling blood samples, as well as performing data entry tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques
  • Handle and process blood samples for laboratory testing
  • Perform data entry tasks to record patient information and test results
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Phlebotomy Applied Certificate
  • Intermediate data entry skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This is a part-time temporary position with a 0.35 FTE. The expected start date is November 04, 2024, and the expected end date is May 01, 2025. The hours of work are 80 hours per 6 weeks rotation. Travel is required for this position.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Pay Band 9, ranging from $21.380 to $22.890 per hour. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
