Stericycle is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating electric and manual powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts and electrical pallet Jacks, to lift, push, pull, stack or move containers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment (electric and manual).
  • Load and unload designated trailers and internally transport materials within processing and/or warehouse areas.
  • Receive, relocate, and dispose of materials through the use of a RF barcode scanner and/or other electronic and manual systems.
  • Pack and palletize product and apply correct labels.
  • Verify all inbound bills of lading for accuracy against the delivered products.
  • Maintain the integrity of materials through proper handling and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of inbound shipments on applicable systems.
  • Maintain accurate record logs.
  • Identify hazardous waste materials and adhere to instructions related to their movement/process.
  • Promote a safe work environment through personal actions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous forklift, pallet jack or other power equipment experience preferred.
  • Maintains forklift certification.
  • Demonstrates general working knowledge of computers.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with bills of lading, reading numbers and labels as well as add, subtract and multiply.
  • Maintain Valid driver's licenses.
