Currently, Terus Construction, a Division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking to recruit Equipment Operators.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery on public roadways while maintaining situational awareness.
- Utilize all heavy equipment safely and appropriately.
- Conduct daily maintenance and safety inspections of machinery.
- Perform pre-operational checks, and clean, lubricate, and refill equipment as necessary.
- Position heavy machinery for loading and unloading tasks.
- Be prepared to travel and work out of town as required.
- Possess a Class 5 Driver License.
- Successfully pass a Drug Test.
- Prior experience operating equipment in construction settings is preferred.
- Ability to engage in manual labor.
- Must comply with all safety standards and relevant safety policies.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and assist colleagues or supervisors with additional tasks as required.
