Service Supervisor

At SMS Equipment, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of our branch. You will lead a team of Heavy Equipment Technicians and be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician and a strong background in leadership and safety. You will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and investigating accidents and incidents. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers and ensuring that their needs are met.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols. You will be a team player who is committed to making safe choices and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of Heavy Equipment Technicians
- Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Building strong relationships with customers
- Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed to the highest standards
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician
- Strong background in leadership and safety
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
This is a safety-sensitive position, and all candidates must be able to complete a drug and alcohol check, reference check, and drivers abstract.
