Industrial Mechanic Job Description
INFASCO NUT, a leading Mississauga-based automotive company, is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join their team. As a key member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and machinery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and machinery;
- Perform basic welding and cutting as required;
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to production machinery;
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
Requirements:
- College diploma in Industrial Mechanics or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience;
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
- Proficiency in welding and machining techniques;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Knowledge of machine shop practices and safety protocols.
