Position Overview

Zemoz Construction LTD is seeking a dedicated Stone Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with various stone materials, particularly quartz, to create high-quality products.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Work Environment

The work site is characterized by:

  • High noise levels
  • Dusty conditions
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing blade or wire saws to accurately cut stone blocks to specified dimensions.
  • Operating machinery to grind and polish stone surfaces to achieve desired shapes and finishes.
  • Using sandblasting equipment to engrave inscriptions or decorative designs on stone.
  • Employing stone-dressing lathes to sharpen and prepare grindstones for processing logs into pulp.
  • Drilling precise holes in stone blocks or slabs as per specifications.
  • Finishing stone products with spray paint and installing necessary fixtures.
Physical Demands and Skills

This position requires:

  • Physical stamina and strength to handle demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Weight Handling

The role involves handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
