Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Join the Sunrise Montessori School team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and organized daycare environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the preparation of snacks and meals, as well as the arrangement of rooms and furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills by engaging them in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators and supervisors to maintain accurate records of children's progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

We offer a permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
