Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Join the Sunrise Montessori School team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant and contribute to the growth and development of young minds.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and organized daycare environment, ensuring the well-being of children at all times.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging programs that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist in record-keeping and documentation, providing valuable insights into children's progress.
  • Plan and execute activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning, such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation.
  • Prepare nutritious snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods, promoting a healthy and comfortable environment.
  • Submit written observations and feedback to early childhood educators, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for supporting children's growth.
  • Work a regular schedule of 35-40 hours per week, with opportunities for professional development and growth within the school.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a related field, with a strong commitment to early childhood education.
