Position Overview: Reporting to the Supply Chain Superintendent, the E-Commerce Procurement Specialist will oversee the planning, organization, direction, and management of the entire tendering process, along with the assessment of current contractual obligations.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional site visits as required, following a standard 5-2 work schedule. All necessary transportation, accommodation, and meals will be provided during site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish new supply sources to mitigate risks;
- Conduct various analyses in close collaboration with different departments;
- Facilitate the contract signing process;
- Ensure adherence to company policies;
- Issue purchase orders as requested by the supervisor;
- Perform additional tasks pertinent to the success of the procurement function.
Required Skills:
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities;
- Strong stress management and self-regulation skills.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access);
- Familiarity with SAP software (mandatory);
- Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential, as communication with English-speaking suppliers and contract drafting in English will be required.
