About the Role

Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC is seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in Brandon, MB.

Our Team

We are a leading manufacturer of nitrogen, phosphate, and sulfur products, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our team of approximately 270 dedicated members is committed to safety, health, and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of material-moving equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and loaders, to accomplish work order goals.
  • Inspect equipment before use and perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Adhere to safety requirements, government standards, and regulations.
  • Inspect and inventory rigging equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized equipment storage building.
  • Work alongside contractor crane operators as required.

Work and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.
  • Pass a pulmonary breathing test.
  • Ability to wear a gas mask-type respirator and PPE.
  • Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Tolerance to fumes and airborne particles.
  • Unassisted physical mobility in and around plant and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel as necessary.
  • Available for shift work and emergency call out.
  • Ability to travel to and enter site to access equipment.

Requirements

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Crane Operator certification.
  • At least three (3) years of related industrial experience.
  • Valid Class Five (5) driver's license.
