Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care and Handling: Provide exceptional care and handling of animals undergoing treatment and surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Laboratory Support: Assist in the collection of samples and performance of laboratory tests, providing accurate and timely results to support our veterinarians.
  • Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of our veterinarians, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
  • Client Communication: Provide excellent client communication, educating and counseling pet owners on animal health care and treatment options.
  • Office Management: Assist with various office management and clerical duties, ensuring the smooth operation of our animal care facility.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a veterinary technology program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary setting, with a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
