About the Role

Punia Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on preventative measures
  • Conduct laboratory research and assist with data analysis
  • Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist with animal dentistry
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure excellent patient care
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • Experience in a veterinary setting is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to lift and move animals as needed
