We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Athletics Coach to join our team at Vancouver Squash Academy. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Plan and deliver training sessions that cater to the needs of our athletes, focusing on skill development and game strategy.
- Team Management: Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games, ensuring they are physically and mentally prepared.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance their skills.
- Recruitment: Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance, identifying potential talent for our academy.
- Communication: Present materials at conferences or symposia, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and industry professionals.
- Work Environment: Work in an urban area, with a focus on squash, and be available to work 30-35 hours per week.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
