Position Summary

The Senior Oracle eBS Developer serves as a pivotal IT resource, engaging closely with various business units and functional analysts to design and implement scalable solutions that adhere to industry best practices. This role involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to create and deploy solutions that enhance business value. The developer will also participate in estimating technical tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Additionally, the role encompasses project management responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks within budget constraints, while maintaining the quality of deliverables.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Provide ongoing production support for daily operational issues.
  • Guide team members in designing and implementing technical solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience with Oracle applications, including at least two years as a technical lead on Oracle eBusiness Suite applications.
  • At least five years of experience with ERP conversion processes and integrations, utilizing tools such as OIC, GoAnywhere, or SOA Suite.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proven experience leading full life cycle implementations of Oracle eBS.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, processes, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, XML/BI Publisher, RTF templates, OAF, JDeveloper, Java, XML, Shell Scripting, and Workflow tools.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) development and personalization.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Oracle modules related to Financials, Supply Chain, and/or EAM.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite APIs, SOA Gateway, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with tools such as AventX, Noetix, and MFT tools like GoAnywhere is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the energy industry trends and challenges is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile project environments as well as traditional waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across different time zones.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA or Canada.
  • Familiarity with the Steel Industry is a significant advantage.
  • ERP experience is essential; experience with decommissioning systems is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Windows SQL Server DB.
  • Capability to lead and develop diverse teams.
