Job Title: Psycho-educator - MSDC

At the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB), we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Psycho-educator - MSDC. This position is a key part of our team, responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs aimed at the psycho-social rehabilitation of our users.

Education and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a master's degree in Psycho-education and be a member in good standing of the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ).

Experience and Skills

With a minimum of two years of experience in a related field, you will possess excellent analytical and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our users, their families, and our community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs aimed at the psycho-social rehabilitation of our users
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop program plans to meet the needs of our users
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Provide education and training to our users and their families
  • Conduct program evaluations and make recommendations for improvement
