About the Role:

The Senior Security Operations Engineer plays a crucial role in fostering a robust technical alliance with our clients, delivering security solutions, and nurturing strong relationships.

As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with clients
  • Evaluating log and system data
  • Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Assisting clients with troubleshooting and support inquiries
  • Serving as the primary technical liaison for clients
  • Guiding junior analysts

This position encompasses aspects of IT Security Analyst, Security Architect, Incident Response Consultant, Security Sales Engineer, and Technical Support. The Senior Security Operations Engineer will oversee network security frameworks for various enterprises utilizing Arctic Wolf's cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with a Concierge Security Analyst and Customer Success Managers, fostering strong client relationships and taking ownership of their security needs.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Network Security, or Cybersecurity
  • Background as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise IT Security and Operations
  • Expertise in analyzing log and system data
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Degrees in engineering or technology are advantageous
  • Certifications like CISSP are a plus
