Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist Include:
At Desgagnés Logistik (DLI)
Reconcile vendor accounts with purchase orders and payments. Process and record invoices promptly, ensuring their accuracy. Oversee vendor payments and address any arising issues. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and ensure effective follow-up. Assist the finance team with various tasks and projects.At Desgagnés Transarctik (DTI)
Organize work schedules for data entry clerks to ensure effective workload management. Validate and ensure compliance of cargo bookings and delivery notifications. Aid in generating specific reports and tracking cargo. Assist in verifying invoices and preparing necessary documentation.Required Skills:
DEC or equivalent in accounting and management. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, managing vendor accounts, and experience as a clerk/accounting technician. Experience in the maritime, rail, or air transport industry is advantageous. Ability to thrive in a multitasking environment. Familiarity with an ERP system is beneficial. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel. Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written. Strong sense of responsibility, dedication, and professionalism.
