Job Title: Automotive Body Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at Kia of Brockville. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive body repair, with experience in estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Plan and execute repair work, including replacing front end components, body components, and underbody components
  • Clean and maintain the work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements:
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in automotive body repair
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
