About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Coordinator to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement strategic EHS programs to maintain a safe work environment
  • Manage occupational health and safety processes, conduct training, and ensure compliance with regulations and corporate requirements
  • Evaluate and implement solutions to reduce the company's environmental footprint
  • Perform site EHS inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements
  • Develop and deploy EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials
  • Support leaders during accident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Develop and provide EHS training to employees
  • Support and lead the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Requirements
  • College/University Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a professional EHS in an industrial environment or a suitable combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and experience in environmental footprint reductions projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical skills with high power of observation and attention to detail
  • Work organization abilities and strong team spirit
  • Able to travel (10-20% of time)
  • English written and spoken mandatory, French is an asset
