Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Nextgen Construction Inc. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust and clean furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and healthy environment
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Empty trash and recycling containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The Janitorial Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and may be required to work in a variety of settings, including offices, warehouses, and construction sites.

Language

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
