About the Role

Voyago is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team in the Niagara Region Transit Location. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company-owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct full Driving Assessments to ensure employees are competent and confident in their driving abilities.
  • Provide approved Voyago divisional training as required to ensure employees meet the necessary standards.
  • Attend internal or outside instructional training programs as required by the transit division manager to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements
  • A G-class driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • A clean driver's abstract and previous Driver Assessment experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience and a strong teaching/instructional background.
  • Strong attention to detail, superior organization, and communications skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday (the occasional weekend).
