Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Broker to join our personal lines sales team in Cornwall, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling general insurance policies to individuals and families, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Sell general insurance policies to the public, acting as the initial contact with applicants and providing accurate quotations for coverage and premiums.
- Obtain necessary information from clients to provide tailored insurance solutions and ensure timely completion of applications.
- Place risks with appropriate markets, arrange and collect premiums, and forward applications to insurance companies for binding.
- Ensure accurate issuance and receipt of policies, and follow up with clients to ensure complete satisfaction and finalize sales processes.
- Maintain ongoing client satisfaction and provide further products as required to build a long-term client base and portfolio.
- Collect accounts receivable and address any areas of concern on the portfolio.
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales-oriented and knowledgeable about risk and insurance products, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain trust and confidentiality, with a commitment to open, respectful, and honest communication.
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain a RIBO license, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and regulatory requirements.
