Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily store operations, evaluate performance, and plan for future growth.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and conducting performance reviews.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Inventory and Merchandising: Manage inventory levels, determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies, study market research and trends, and plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in inventory control software, computerized bookkeeping systems, and electronic mail.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical, collaborative, creative, efficient, energetic, hardworking, outgoing, and work term: permanent.
