Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QC Analyst to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our Financial Intelligence Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate Reasonable Ground to Suspect (RGS) and ensure STRs are filed in a timely manner.
  • Incorporate procedures, job aids, and regulatory findings into a holistic case review.
  • Review case files and transactional data to ensure all reportable transactions are submitted.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and provide feedback to investigative teams.
  • Contribute to the establishment of metrics and feedback loops.
  • Drive system development projects and efficiency enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in AML and/or Financial Crime at a financial institution.
  • Thorough understanding of STR filing requirements and RGS thresholds.
  • Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or as a 2nd level reviewer in an FIU.
  • Demonstrated successful interaction across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
