We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Safeway. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide warm, empathetic, and professional care to patients, prioritizing their needs and concerns.
- Offer patient counseling and education on new therapies, tailoring to individual needs and literacy levels.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health and wellness services.
- Ensure prescription safety and technical functions are prioritized for Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility.
- Injection and First Aid Certification.
- Kroll software experience is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $51.00-$62.00 per year, based on location, work experience, and skills. We are committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
Work ScheduleThe successful candidate will work an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. The schedule may include day, evening, and morning shifts.
