Transforming Transportation Infrastructure

We're seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our Ontario Transportation Group in Markham, Canada. As a key member of our team, you'll drive the success of complex transportation projects, from idea to delivery.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Project Manager and Project Director to advance their career in leading municipal planning and design projects. You'll have exposure to business development, staff management, and operations management, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design road and bridge projects for municipal clients.
  • Manage all aspects of project management, including budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff.
  • Support business development, including capture planning and leading proposals.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ontario P.Eng designation required (or eligible).
  • 20+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience.
  • Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of developing, mentoring, and leading professional technical staff.
