Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team at SAUJANI ENTERPRISES Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Package take-out food and prepare it for delivery
  • Portion and wrap foods to meet customer specifications
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked kitchen
  • Take customers' orders and process payments efficiently
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is located in a rural area, and we are easily accessible by public transportation. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • Will train on the job to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
Language:

The primary language spoken in our restaurant is English, and we require all staff members to be proficient in English to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
