Job Overview:

Seeking individuals experienced in the Oil and Gas sector who can effectively communicate and educate personnel about the dangers associated with H2S exposure. Must be prepared to engage in safety discussions on-site and assist in planning emergency response strategies for H2S incidents. Proficient in the setup and operation of gas detection systems and cascade setups, along with the ability to properly utilize SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) and SABA (Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus). Experience in transporting trailers is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and well-being of yourself and colleagues by adhering to Firemaster's safety protocols and applicable regulations. Operate company vehicles responsibly and safely. Keep vehicles in top condition and maintain cleanliness at all times. Arrive on time consistently. Safely manage all Firemaster equipment. Execute tasks in the workshop and on-site as directed by Firemaster's policies. Exhibit professional conduct in both the workshop and field settings. Maintain a precise logbook in compliance with government standards. Complete daily documentation, including vehicle inspections, safety meeting records, emergency response plans, personnel counts, site-specific orientations, and tracking of personnel certifications and expiration dates.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record (must provide a driving abstract prior to hiring). High school diploma or equivalent. Current certification in H2S Alive from Energy Safety Canada. Valid First Aid certification from recognized organizations. Current Confined Space Entry certification. Common Safety Orientation certification from Energy Safety Canada. Firemaster will provide training in WHMIS, TDG, Driver Improvement, Fatigue Management, and Hours of Service to ensure clarity in logbook requirements.
