About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Victoria Gymnastics Downtown. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Instruction: Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions for gymnasts of various skill levels.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prospect Evaluation: Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance to determine their suitability for our programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems, and administer first-aid and other assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Level 1 Certificate in Coaching and CPR Certificate.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Gymnastics training facility.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and other staff members.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders.
