Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Clarks Harbour Seafood Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and facilities
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure employees are meeting expectations
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work language is English.
