This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek, and we offer a supportive work environment for individuals with disabilities and newcomers to Canada.

Responsibilities:

* Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
* Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
* Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
* Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
* Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
* Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
* Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
* Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
* Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
* Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
* Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

Requirements:

* No degree, certificate, or diploma required
* 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
* Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work conditions
