Position Overview:
As a Senior Wealth Associate at National Bank, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in collaborating with clients and colleagues. This role involves working in close partnership with investment advisors to deliver exceptional service and ensure seamless operations within the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client accounts to identify tailored business opportunities that meet their specific needs.
- Manage administrative functions related to account oversight, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Create promotional materials to effectively communicate the service offerings available to investment advisors.
- Organize and coordinate seminars for clients, including planning the content.
- Participate in financial planning discussions with clients, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
- Lead the onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
- Supervise the onboarding process for new clients.
- Collaborate with investment advisors to formulate innovative strategies for portfolio management and marketing to enhance outcomes.
- Assist investment advisors in developing annual business plans and track their progress.
Your Team:
You will be part of National Bank Financial – Wealth Management, which ranks as the fifth largest investment dealer in Canada. With nearly 1,000 investment advisors managing the assets of over 400,000 clients across approximately 100 branches, you will report to the regional manager and work alongside an investment advisor to provide an outstanding client experience. Success in this role will be driven by collaboration and partnership.

Qualifications:
- A completed college or university diploma in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in portfolio management, financial planning, marketing, social media, or taxation.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, or the requirement to complete these within one year of starting the position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
- In-depth knowledge of current market trends and activities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
