Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and edit correspondence and legal documents
  • Manage calendars and schedules
  • Maintain and organize client files
  • Communicate with internal and external clients
  • Draft various court documents, including notices, bills, and affidavits
  • Set court dates and communicate with registries
  • Handle and prepare Wills and Estate planning files, power of attorney, and representation agreements
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in LAA or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, ideally in Wills and Estates
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Punjabi an asset
