Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting expectations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including daily sales reports and inventory reports.
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and ensure that food is delivered to the correct location.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
