Position Overview:
As a Senior Rotary Wing Pilot, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment of a new helicopter program. Your expertise will be essential in the development and execution of advanced aviation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Program Development:**
- Formulate and implement an Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) program tailored for the new helicopter fleet.
- Design and execute a Night Vision Goggles (NVG) program applicable to both new and existing helicopters.

2. **Advisory Role:**
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance during the procurement process for new helicopter acquisitions.

3. **Team Leadership:**
- Oversee the recruitment of a Deputy Pilot and up to 18 additional pilots to operate the new helicopter fleet.

Qualifications:
- A secondary school diploma or a suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
- Possession of an Unrestricted Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License – Helicopter Category with a valid Group IV Instrument Rating.
- Valid Restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Certificate (endorsed Aeronautical).
- Night endorsement is required.
- Experience in NVG operations and familiarity with helicopter operations under Canadian Aviation Regulations.

Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards as they pertain to helicopter operations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational procedures and programs.
- Strong written communication skills.

- Willingness to travel to various locations, including remote areas.
- Ability to work in an aviation environment, including potential deployment on vessels for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses.
