Job Summary:

Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotor Wing Pilot to join our team. As a Rotor Wing Pilot, you will be responsible for operating aircraft in a variety of conditions, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions and adapting to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate aircraft in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and Ornge policies
  • Ensure the safety of passengers and crew at all times
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions and adapting to changing situations
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth flight operations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and improve skills

Requirements:

  • Valid Air Transport Pilot's Licence (ATPL) (Helicopter) issued by Transport Canada
  • Minimum 500 hours of Rotary-wing flight experience
  • Completed Air Transport Pilot's License (ATPL) (Helicopter) Exams
  • Valid Group 4 Instrument Rating
  • Night Rating
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • Experience flying multi-engine helicopters is desirable
  • Experience using Night Vision Goggles (NVG) and flying for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) or equivalent is desirable
  • Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security Assessment Application for Night Vision Goggle purposes
  • Valid Canadian Passport or ability to work in Canada and ability to travel to the USA
  • A criminal record search is a requirement for this position
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations
