IIQAF is seeking a proficient and knowledgeable Reservoir Engineer to become a vital part of our organization, focusing on the exploration, extraction, and enhancement of hydrocarbon resources. In this role, you will engage in the evaluation of reservoir characteristics, the design of well completions, and the optimization of production processes. Collaborating with a diverse team of specialists, including drilling engineers and geoscientists, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and secure recovery of oil and gas.

Primary Duties:
  • Executing reservoir engineering assessments to determine the viability of oil and gas deposits.
  • Formulating and implementing reservoir management plans aimed at boosting production levels and maximizing recovery.
  • Designing well completions and production systems, including the selection of artificial lift techniques and production apparatus.
  • Evaluating well performance metrics and applying production optimization strategies.
  • Partnering with drilling engineers to create well development plans and evaluate drilling and completion activities.
  • Conducting reservoir simulations to forecast reservoir behavior and refine field development strategies.
  • Adhering to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Reservoir Engineer within the oil and gas sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts, including well testing, decline curve analysis, and fluid dynamics.
  • Expertise in reservoir simulation tools, such as Eclipse or Petrel.
  • Understanding of completion and production engineering practices and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with drilling and completion processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites as necessary.
