About the Role

This is a senior technical position that requires a high level of expertise in oil reservoir management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight on best-in-class reservoir management practices, formulating reservoir development plans, and leading integrated field reviews and field development plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement reservoir management strategies to optimize hydrocarbon asset development and depletion.
  2. Lead and participate in reservoir engineering studies, including reservoir stimulation modeling and advanced completion techniques.
  3. Provide technical expertise in formation evaluation, geological modeling, simulation, and reservoir appraisal and field development planning.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess strategic and commercial viability of potential investment opportunities.
  5. Develop and maintain expertise in modern reservoir management practices, including the use of advanced technologies and data analytics.
Requirements
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline, with a Master's degree or PhD desirable.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years specializing in oil reservoir management.
  3. Full professional proficiency in English, enabling clear interaction and communication with specialists in geology, core and fluid analysis, petrophysics, simulation, drilling, completion, production, and facilities.
  4. Working knowledge of open-hole and cased-hole logs, geological modeling, simulation, completion and production procedures, and technologies.
  5. Technical expertise in formation evaluation, geological modeling, simulation, reservoir appraisal and field development planning, completion, production/injection procedures and strategies, water flooding, reservoir surveillance, SCAL, PVT analysis, geochemical analysis, and fluid compatibility.
