Our Mission
Our Web3 initiatives tackle the challenges of NFT counterfeiting and provide self-service tools for content creators to protect their intellectual property. We enable users to document their IP chain of title and present this verification, fostering trust among buyers. Our technology acts as a verification badge for IP ownership and equips marketplaces with the means to swiftly eliminate counterfeit products.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Blockchain Solutions Architect to provide expert technical guidance in the development of our Web3 products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering high-quality products at scale and a passion for blockchain technology, distributed systems, cryptography, and distributed ledgers. This role is crucial in defining the technical trajectory of our team and creating innovative products from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager, CTO, machine learning scientists, and software engineers.
- Gain a deep understanding of our domain, the challenges we are addressing, and our product roadmap.
- Design and develop smart contracts utilizing Solidity and other blockchain technologies.
- Oversee requirements from inception through to testing.
- Lead the development of Web3 solutions by proposing scalable and sustainable designs that integrate seamlessly with blockchain ecosystems.
- Be prepared to expand your role and take on additional responsibilities.
- Propose, refine, and document team processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Stay adaptable and open to shifting priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Enjoy a 4.5-day workweek (Friday afternoons off).
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 CAD, based on experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial software development experience with a focus on blockchain.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficient in blockchain frameworks, particularly Ethereum.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithm design and data structures.
- Skilled in multiple programming languages, including Python.
- Experience in Smart Contract development, especially with Solidity.
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain protocols and architecture.
- Familiarity with NFTs and marketplace structures.
- Demonstrated success in building, testing, and deploying production systems on blockchain.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
- Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Strong system development skills across all stages of the development lifecycle.
