RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care, within the scope of practice of an RPN.
- Assess and Plan Care: Assess the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents and develop individualized care plans to meet their needs.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Manage Medications: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications, including the administration, storage, and disposal of medications.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations.
- Clearances: Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
