Nurse Practitioner

Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our East End Family Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with episodic and chronic diseases
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medication, and order other treatments as needed
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in health promotion activities to optimize the health of individuals, families, and communities
- Function within your scope of practice and maintain competence in clinical NP practice
- Master of Nursing – Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (MN-PHCNP)
- 4 years of nursing experience
- Registered with CNO: Nurse Practitioner – Primary Health Care (Registered Nurse Extended Class)
- Member of the Nurse Practitioners' Association of Ontario
