About the Role

Mir Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks to identify and repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues with truck systems, including automotive, truck-trailer, and commercial transport systems.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring transparency and efficiency in our operations.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services on commercial transport trucks to ensure optimal performance and extend vehicle lifespan.
  • Customer Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to customers regarding work performed, estimated costs, and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
