Interim Store Director

About the Role:
Sephora Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to lead the overall operations of a specific store location. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the client experience, people development, sales, productivity, merchandising, operational efficiencies, and human resource functions for the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to maximize store sales and profitability, including forecasting sales, adjusting staffing plans, and optimizing controllable expenses.
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the store, providing regular coaching, training, and feedback to team members to drive sales and deliver outstanding client service.
- Improve Operational Efficiency: Analyze and optimize store operations to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance the overall client experience.
- Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies that drive sales growth, improve market share, and enhance the Sephora brand.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role at an equivalent sales volume store or internal experience.
- Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence business partners at all levels.
- Team Development and Coaching: Proven ability to create and lead high-performing teams, with a focus on developing and coaching team members to drive sales and deliver outstanding client service.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
